P & A S Hayselden Ltd is a family run and owned professional property maintenance company which has been established since 1978 specialising in Painting and Decorating. We operate throughout Yorkshire and the surrounding counties from a permanent base in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. We are able to offer our customers a total solution for all their property needs.
We undertake all categories of work from a single private domestic home to partnership schemes involving upwards of 800 properties a year. We conduct all our work in house without the need to sub-contract.
All our employees have specialist knowledge and experience of dealing with customers who may have special needs, such as customers in sheltered housing or residential care homes. We recruit locally and without discrimination in order to help support the communities and areas we work in.

Our customers include local authorities such as Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Councils, for whom we have worked on a vast array of council owned buildings from Schools to Magistrate Courts.
Since 2004, we have worked in partnership with South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA), this is to carry out external decoration to their entire housing stock; this includes General Needs Housing, Special Needs Housing and Listed Buildings. This has progressed with great success and with extremely high levels of customer satisfaction. Following the success of the first six years of this partnership SYHA have chosen to extend this by a further two years to 2012. This is an excellent achievement and we are very proud to be working in partnership with SYHA.
In April 2011, we began to work in partnership with Wakefield and District Housing (WDH) helping to decorate their current housing stock of over 31000 properties in the Wakefield District. This is an excellent achievement for our company and validates our approach to partnership agreements, high levels of quality and total customer satisfaction.
We work in partnership with Paint manufacturers; this demonstrates our high levels of workmanship and craftsmanship. We are assessed by these manufacturers in terms of the quality of work across various projects. We have worked in partnership with Crown Paints since 2004 and Dulux Paints since 2011.
